Mon+Th, 6-8pm ET
4 weeks, Feb 3-27
As streaming options proliferate, we think of television today as a medium in upheaval. Television, however, has always been in flux. This course provides an overview of television theory and U.S. television history. We will watch and analyze a range of programming and explore ongoing shifts in television's relationship to audiences, technology, and other media forms in an effort to answer—and complicate—the question, "What is television?"
When you purchase your course seat please also submit this Application Form. Your enrollment is not reserved unless the Application Form has been received. Thank you!
